how do you mine asteroids?? lol
I have a light mining thingy and i dont know how to do it

Mars all you need is mineral scanner and your ship Cannons
then you just fine Asteroid Field and scan one asteroid at the time, and when you find minerals you just shoot the asteroids. and if you like to place mining ship to Plantoids you need to scan the Planetoid and then it will ask you if you want to place it, NOTE: you need 100 cubit to ask the miner ship to mine so check that the planetoid haves resurces left

On to the main point, did you all get a nice surprise last night when a Level 2 viper came about...I was not very happy about getting my ass kicked by ships 50x bigger than mine through...

I found it runs better with firefox, however i would like to know how to config the game engine as the writing was all messed up...or is that just part of BSG, also I gotta sort my controls out to a more STO layout( which works)

For those that didnt know (probably everyone except a few), This clan used to play on a server on Freelancer known as....Battlestar Galactica Freelancer Server! .

I have talked with a dev from BSGO and he give me some insights from an update of game wich will be implemented The new patch will have:
Probably 9 new ships ( most of them strikers)
Somme new electronics and ammunitions
New resourcessmtng like plutonium that will be use fro enhance ure ammunition firepower
New posibilities foe wins ( sharing resources and wepons)
new paintings for every ships and most nice an specific paint for every wing
Smarter NPC
This pach wait the aprouval from people of UNIVERSAL- they own the license for BSGO
So Lords i sugest that u dont spend too much merits and cubits. Keep them for the new ships, weapons, amunitions, boosters

i just hope they do more job whit the Bug isues then desining new stuff for the game.

heh, i m still learning about ammo types and stuff, just quite hard trying to change over while fighting ( or don't)

Ah man I am a few merits short off advanced halberd, and I stockpiled almost 100k cubits after a 'devine + ftl' weekend - probably good position to be in but now spend or wait, spend or wait? - i can't see this update coming any time in next few months - i thought flight controls and wing updates were the next update?
BTW there were level 30+ npcs in that ftl mission which was a bit unexpected

I'm sure everyone was waiting with bated breath as to what I was going to do lol!
Well I'm not very patient so I spent the cubits and the merits in last few days
Funny for past number of weeks/months I was a complete merit monkey - now i have upgraded mk7 and halberd I am wandering around with less purpose as I have no plan to get a gung to continue the merit quest - need new objectives

Well, iwas there Mj. But i set a new target : to fully upgade the Mk7 and halberd at maxx posibble. till now i succed to upgrade my hulls at lvl 15 and cannons to lvl13. the rest of my devices-electronic warfare r lvl 10-12. but need more to do for upgare all at max.

Yeah I think I will be doing something similar! Mainly try to upgrade my mk7 - my guns are lvl 12 now - but 500k cubits to get them to lvl 13 will take a while, hull plates will be easier task !
My Jotunn is all lvl 3 - honest I think so far I have killed 1 npc with it in total, and its probably never been on anything but OP defense - it would cost just under 500k cubits to get that to all lvl 7 - but what fun would that be ?
Changing from mainly pvp hunter for merits to possibly dailies / water mining etc. for cubits is a bit of a game changer - its probably faster getting cubits flying the halberd around - lets see!

I played BSGO today for a brief 30min to see how Lords play in the game. This is what I saw:

- Quite a few Lords playing at the same time
- All Lords communicating with each other in Wing and Group chat
- Lords working together as a team
- Lords helping out fellow Lords, including a BSGO noob such as I

I left very happy, because I saw that Lords in BSGO are working very hard and well. Great stuff team!

Hope u will play much more with us now and u will see more of Lords team actions! !

Aw i do that anyway in my viper (level 2 booya XD) mostly taking down missiles so that the guys can focus on the ships/platforms at hand
