I just used The Gimp.... it's free and there are many tutoring on the Web

I am liking the artistic flair, however I must be the wet blanket and lay down a few rules with the use of images as Graphic Signatures on your forum profile.

The purpose of the Graphic Signature is, quite simply, so that there is something in the signature other than text

However, there are some restrictions on the shape and way a Graphic signature is:

1. The Graphic Signature needs to be a Banner Shape i.e. Rectangular
2. The height of the Graphic Signature is to be no more than 200px high, and no longer than 600px wide.
3. The Graphic Signature needs to have the name of the member, with correct Lord tags
4. Any other text is fine, as long as it complies with the Rules and Regulations
5. Any images in the Graphic Signature are fine as long as they don't offend and comply with the Rules and Regulations
6. The Graphic Signature needs to be centered in the signature block with the center code

I will be checking these signatures on peoples profiles in 7 days time to see if they are all within these rules. If they are not, I will remove the images myself.

They are lovely soft, what software did you use?

Now I m going to side with hugh, because of this reason; I often browses these fourms on a mobile or something of the like, and often away from home so i ve only got my GPRS, HSPCA( whatever it is) and 3 G. its very annoying to try and get done what you want to do with the browser hoping around trying to load very pretty pictures also it tends to take up a bit of data every time you refresh.

Although we should indeed keep them but not as sigs as they are wayyy too big

Pics can be resized to fit the rules, so we can enjoy this excellent job thad soft made, and follow the rules. What do u guys think?
