a good fighter is not always a good trainer. or in other words: trainers become those pilots, that are willing to spend their free time with theoretical+practical training of others.

the training sessions we used to have in the old Lord clan were simply basics, meant to teach the beginners the most important things like manuvers ship setups i think most of the higher-ranked among you know those tricks already

there were two reasons for this:
1st, the trainer cant spend all his free time with the training, those bct+act sessions already took over an hour each plus the time spent for organizing these trainings.
2nd, not everyone wants to be a perfect fighter so there's no point to force the beginners to do endless hours of training.

"real" training is on the battlefield, the best teacher is your enemy. or you can simply duel each other, and then talk about what you could have done better. a third, somewhat unconventional way is, to make an untagged character, fly to the best fighters on the server and just fight them over and over without asking for duels or anything; i know at least one from the old Lord clan who became a very good fighter by that method.
