i said it many times, that anyone can be member of the clan too easy and too fast for us to check him/her out. as i speck with Jani, there r more that i know they r not playing fair .

Re: BSGO Briefing Room Feb 02 to Dec 23 2012
I would not even know where I find the time to play with a second account. It remains just very unfortunate that there are still players who do not play fair and are not loyal to their clan. This will indeed be detrimental to the recruitment of new players, but the best remain in the LordSquadron. I'd rather see 10 motivated players you can play together as 90 players inactive...
So slow down the recruiments and play with the best!

Maybe it would be quick step to put some level of security on the 'Briefing Room' section for example, so only fully vetted members can see planned events. At least then Cylon players with account in our forum are not able to see planned events.

I think there needs to be a ingame clampdown on "Unofficial members". Anyways, the way its meant to work is that the member requests to join the Lord Clan and over a period of two weeks they are watched and taught the basics of the clan (Boot Camp), if they are all clear, they are promoted to private becoming proper members. That requires the work of members on all levels
What could be the main problem is that unofficial members virtually have free reign on how they act in the clan.
On another note, if you do not wish to hold the current rank you have, you are free to ask to hold a lower rank, and this can be arranged. It is reminded that with rank, comes responsibilty and if you feel that you can't fufill those responsibilites something can and will be arranged

It is very important for me to understand that the range implies obligations.
If you do not want to have them ask to degrade.
I've always said that working for the clan and the clan is the sense of being a member of a clan.
Otherwise playing alone.
Best regards.

Re: BSGO Briefing Room Feb 02 to Dec 23 2012
This Week Mission Briefing: OPERATION Sweep and Clear will start at 9 PM Server time on the Today From Delta Canopis
Wing leaders assign Groups and then Group commanders take charge Of the group if we have multiple groups working at same time.
GROUND: Tauron Server, Battlestar Galactica Online
PLAN:
we will Execute this mission in Co-Operation with other wings to use there carriers and strikes. 3 or 4 carriers will be useful for this operation. the plan is simple, one viper or raptor from each carrier will jump to the target system and drop a FTL beacon close to enemy op, the carriers will then jump in and all strikes will attack the op. once enemy op is down the viper's will re dock and carriers will jump to a safe system and await the next target. FTL vipers will go to the target systems and see what is there before dropping FTL beacons to avoid enemy interference as much as possible.
we will jump to random outposts to keep Cylons off balance during our attack. if an op bash is going then we avoid it so we can tackle other ops and limit the Cylons movements to regroup.
MISSION:
Battle groups will attack every Cylon op as possible. wing leaders can use Xfire or Skype/TS to communicate in voice.
EXECUTION:
wing Leaders start to make Groups at Delta Canopis.
if we have a carrier in the operation we will fill it with vipers if possible.
when groups are ready we will make a group jump to the decided system, when our scouts have give us the green light to jump.
groups need to stay together and always target op first, so no mine/NPC's or PVP killing before op is destroyed, we will clear out remaining Cylons after op is gone.
vipers will clear missiles from our liners way if we don't have carrier.
FTL beacons will be used on this mission.
PHASE 1: Group Up at Delta Canopis.
PHASE 2: Raid starts when Group's are full and ready.
PHASE 3: In battle Protect your allied members, don't go after solo PVP/NPC targets before op is destroyed.
it's advisable to use Raid call use on raid missions on BSGO, Corporal Subaruscott will take care all Tac-ops communications with our allies in TS
i hope to see many allied pilots in the event, good hunting out there everyone, Salute!

To reply to your statement:
For all those who have read the rules and regs of this clan (which I would hope should you have or you made a false declaration when you signed up), and when you sign up in the recruitment office, you will see in red writing a line stating that Forum Access is only given to those who have officially joined up to the clan. Therefore no unofficial members of the clan have any access to official areas of the forums.
This is the second time something that has been brought up that concerns me, the first being that the concept of the two week boot camp seems to be forgotten sometimes. I urge all members to read the main rules again, in an easily accessible area of the forums (Its right up top!). They arent there to just look pretty.

Double briefing for mining event and Pegasus event
This Mission Briefing: OPERATION Roidathon will start at 8 PM Server time on the 15th December From Delta Canopis
GROUND: Tauron Server, Battlestar Galactica Online
Plan
We will do this Mining mission in Group with other Lord members. We will group up in Delta Canopis and then start from Hatir and mine all the asteroids there, and then we move to next system with a high density belt.
Mining ships will need Protection, so we will have Viper Pilots online who have Advanced Viper MK VII and good gear who will protect our miners.
MISSION:
We will mine everything. Tylium , Titanium and Water.
Miners will have a mining Setup, so they are not ready to fight. We will assign 2 Vipers for Protection of our miners and they will patrol the area and warn us of any danger that might come close so we can move the mining ships if needed. There will also be a Raptor FR above scanning for threats. This will be all about teamwork, so everyone who is in the same group will only be for the mining mission and those who don’t want to join this event will make other groups so this event will not end in confusion.
EXECUTION:
we will group up in Delta Canopis, at which point the highest ranking officer online at the time will ask for people for the mining event and invite them in the mining group. When the group becomes full the leader will assign 2 Viper Pilots And an FR Pilot for mining Group Protection.
PHASE 1: Group Up at Delta Canopis.
PHASE 2: Event starts when Group's are full and ready.
PHASE 3: We are to follow the leader into high density belts, mining all resources until there is none left.
It is advisable to use Raid call use on all missions on BSGO; although in this mission it is not essential.
I hope to see many allied pilots in the event, good hunting out there everyone, Salute!

Revised Medal List and Requirements!
The number of medals available to members have been reduced and requirements for the remaining medals clearer/changed, in order to make them more relevant and realistic for members to attain them. They are found here: https://lord.forumotion.com/t1607-lord-clan-medals-and-ribbons
I am now accepting nominations for members to recieve medals. If you think a particular member deserves one of these medals, please personal message me with the name of the person, the medal, and why they should be awarded the medal. Tonights event
Last night some bastard (sorry for the bad language) hacked my computer and installed a forceware virus on it, Ive managed to remove it but not before it did serious damage to all my software and operating system. Im currently in the process of trying to retrieve some data that wasnt backed up before i do a complete format and reinstall everything.
I hope to have it completed before tonights event and should be there on time, if I'm not then you know why.

welcome to 2000. you cant surf the internet just like that, open all kind of emails, visit all kinds of websites ... need protection and common sense, especially if you use windows. and regular backups.
and no Jani its not kids. its grownup companies that earn money. they write programs that take control over thousands of home computers. then they sell those bots to some terrorist group or government for big money. then we all see news on tv about company or government websites being inaccessible cause they are overloaded, cause those thousands of slaves are ordered by their master to access 1 website at the same time. which is too much for 1 website, so no one else can access it. this is a multi million market.

Adding to that Flint, you'll find that a lot of the so called "viruses" and "spyware" are infact written by the antivirus companies too
