Re: Main Bulletin Board
I cant imagine so. I dont know how old your rig is but Its not hugely taxing on computers.

I played a little more last night. I wont give it as high praise as freelancer because I can see how it can become stale, but its still pretty good for a less then 2gb download.

Re: Main Bulletin Board
cant help but agree.
its nothing but a mere whisper compared to years past.
Life is a whirlwind, we just get caught up in it.
Any hot topics we can discuss?
I've been playing fallout 4. Its massive and so time consuming. basically skyrim/Fallout new vegas all over again. I curse myself because I'm a completionist in most games so I'll be stuck on this for a while. There isnt any given moment where I spend hours just exploring one place. While I overall enjoy the game alot, I cant say I enjoy the quests as much as games past. The quests just seem a little lacking in content and emotion. That being said I've been doing side quests and not the main quests. But for anyone willing to kill a couple of hundred hours I'd say its pretty awesome game to play.
After fallout I'm onto Star craft LOTV then onto Star wars battlefront and then Just Cause 3 and then Assassins Creed syndicate.... my life is set for the next 6 months.

Re: Main Bulletin Board
I heard Fallout 4 has a lot of elements that Skyrim has, which some people have been moaning about. How true is that?

Re: Main Bulletin Board
Not sure about people moaning about that..
But if thats true they need a slap...those same features made Skyrim great ( although they possibly moaned about that)

Re: Main Bulletin Board
Any noobies that just started playing fallout 4 fresh and didnt play the previous games would moan about it. But in truth skyrim has taken everything from Fallout. I've played all the fallouts since i was a kid. Fallout 3 and New vegas had skyrim mechanics in them and they were both well and truly released years before skyrim. So if you meet one of those wierner's that complain about it DS, shove that up their coconut tree.
Regardless of that, if you loved the skyrim mechanics then you'll just love the fallout ones too.

I think it is a nice game, but damm they need to fire their texture artists.. While they are at it, they also need to fire the optimization team too

Re: Main Bulletin Board
Fallout 4 is pretty big disappointment, even more so than DukeNukemForever. And it looks shite too, not to mention its horribly optimized and full of bugs. Big mistake to make it with the old Gamebryo engine that they've used since Elder Scrolls 3.
In short, i give it a 4.5/10, because its just not good enough anymore to push that kinda crap out and expect people to just take it. Unfortunately, it sold too well to get Bethesda to do any different when ES6 comes out, so i guess im not going to be their customer anymore. Unless they do change the engine, and even then i wont buy it until i see enough rewievs.
SAY NO TO PREORDERS!
Anyway, i'll probably be just as inactive as before, since i dont have any common games atm (no im not going to play star citizen until its finished), and still have just as bad depression if not even worse, not to mention i'm always broke, so i cant go anywhere, or buy any new games anyway. Sometimes i sit at home for a week without going out the door or showering, and i cant even see a way out of this anymore.
Last time i had one of those shitty government sponsored (slave) jobs for 9 euros a day i finally kicked off so badly at work that i broke ---- and had to be sent elsewhere, and then i had a bad breakdown so bad shortly after that, that i had to be put on sick leave, and that was more than a year ago. Now i'm in temporary retirement, and its probably going to continue well into next year.
Just dont see a way out of this where i live past 40 if this keeps going.
