General information of the TS3 server

Slots: 50 slots so shouldn't run out. If we actually should run out(more than 50 people want to be on it daily), it can be increased.
Hosted in London, so if you are from Europe there shouldn't be lag or connection issues.

It has 5 channels:
General Chat Room
Battlestar Galactica Online Chat Room
Star Trek Online Chat Room
Star Conflict Chat Room
AFK Room

General Chat Room:
This can be used for anything and you can talk here even when playing Battlestar Galactica Online or Star Trek Online or even if you're not playing anything and just want to come and talk.

Battlestar Galactica Online Chat Room:
This can be used freely, but it would be good that if people are hosting a Battlestar Galactica Online event and use TS, you could talk here so that others wouldn't be disturbed by the chatter in the General Chat.

Star Trek Online Chat Room:
This can be used freely also, but it would be good that if people are hosting a Star Trek Online event and use TS, you could talk here so that others wouldn't be disturbed by the chatter in the General Chat.

Star Conflict Chat Room:
This can be used freely also, but it would be good that if people are hosting a Star Conflict event and use TS, you could talk here so that others wouldn't be disturbed by the chatter in the General Chat. Has multiple sub-channels.

Officers and NCO's Chat Room
A room to which only Officers and NCO's have access.

Unofficial Games Room
Used to chat in unofficial Lord Clan games. Has a sub-channel.

AFK Room:
You can go here if you need to go afk and want silence. Mics will be auto muted in this channel.

More rooms can be created should it be required.

As you're probably aware Teamspeak Servers have been down for a long period of time, roughly just over 24hrs. We upgraded our Teamspeak Server both hardware and software wise. It now has a dedicated SQL host as well as it's own CPU to run off of. We also updated to the latest software version.

Due to this, we were unable to successfully migrate old files over, meaning Teamspeak Servers were reset back to default. Since this is a free service, all existing services have been terminated. If you wish to receive your Teamspeak Server again please submit a ticket to our Support Department and we'll get it sorted for you. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

So. This happened...

Sometimes i wonder if its better to set up a DMZ out side a routers firewall and run ones own server

If you're willing to keep your comp up 24/7 when there's a larger need for it, go ahead.

Food for throught; does need setup up via networking hardware and the machine itself needs to have a good firewall correctly configured. Added no interfering parents turning the thing off at night

I guess its back up online, now through.

The server is mostly used when we have events/operations

Normally I'm online every night when I'm BSGO playing, but now I have it at home very busy so less time online ...  

Don't wonder if the server goes down for a while in a few days. I, uh... forgot the password to the site and the invoice is due 24th day. I did a password reset but never got the email so I have to contact them personally to get it reset

Got the problem fixed.

Server privilege change
The server permission have been changed as follows:
Channel Creation:

Troops

• Ability to create channels removed
  

NCO

• Ability to create permanent channels removed
  

Server will be down for some time due to technical issues.

I'm currently looking at hosting options to bring our TS3 server back. If anyone has ideas/input post them here.
