Gnn News Today!

GNN have get information that last night Colonial Traiders were attacked by Pirates in Picon System, Pirates did cut the Trade lanes to attack the cargo ship and loot the cargo from them, but traiders did manage to send SOS, and so BoL Fighter squads where Launched to Intercept the attacking force, BoL Fighter squad did find the Pirate ships and engaged them whit Guns Blasing and did take 2 out of the sky in no time, the fight did rage on some time before Colonial ships did get the upper hand, but 1 Colonial cargo ship was lost before all the Pirates were destroyed and Drived away from Colonial Space.

We can expect more Pirate attacks in near future, and Cylon Terror is all ways near, so we urge all Colonial Traiders on extream caution when Transporting goods in picon system, BoL reports that they can assign some fighters on escort missions to Cargo ships if there is Fighters free at that time.

BoL Warriors will Continiue to Patrol the Picon and caprica systems, even the Fighters Squads are in need some important Fighter parts and some Funds.

Server update did cause little lag late night, but picon and caprica systems were clear from Pirates and cylons.

Today KOS clan have informed that they going to leave Protection of the Cargo ship in Picon system to Brotherhood of Lords shoulders as KOS clan thinks that BoL are ready to give nessesary Protection in that system to COL Ships.

Now that BoL have established themselves in Picon the need for ||KOS|| protection
on freighters is not needed anymore. I am sure the BoL can handle the situation.
The ||KOS|| is going back to its original RP so watch your six.

To day Brotherhood of Lord leaders have desided to cancel the EKM Permision to fly thru the Picon system, as there have been meny accidents now of EKM about bad langue or trying to frame BoL members, tonight Warlock did say to Major Jani front of planet Virgon this.

u cheat, i shot at u with guns and misslesand your hull and shield doesnt go down.

After this he started to say that major dock rape him all the time, what was not true, he started to move and shoot at Major, and after that he was killed by Major's guns.

He even did park his ship out side of the docking ring right after coming out and did say that he will brb, so Major did shoot him and sayed front of server police, dont hover or get killed, stay at planet if you will be AFK, after that more dockraping stuff started to rain down from him.

If this flaming continue, then Brotherhood of Lord dont have other choise then delclear war on EKM.

now on BoL Forces are to attack evry Criminal Faction in Picon or Caprica system, there have been talk about RP in the BSG server that there is not much that, so we will now boost that up

What is happening on the Server has RP died Firstly, I would like to point out that this post is not aimed at people directly, nor is it accusing anyone of cheating. It is my personal observations and makes me wonder what is happening on the server. Also it confirms to me that my reasons for not joining clans are well founded.

I have been lured to the dark side (so to say) and have spent the last few days as a Cylon. I was planning to do it a long time ago but as I was President of the Colonies I could not. As that has died a death there is nothing stopping me now. Anyhow I must say this has been a very interesting period of time, but also quiet disturbing. It also makes me wonder if there is actually any RP at all on this server, which does seem a shame as that is what it was originally aimed at becoming.

So why do I say this, here are some examples:

FANG will not attack BSG as they are friends from previous times
FANG and KOS do not engage each other as again friends from previous times
KOS and BOL do not engage each other and have a truce in place
Any Cylon Player with a Colonial Char as a Trader are effectively safe from FANG, KOS, BOL, BSG, as FANG and KOS don’t attack each other. Also as cylons do not attack Cylon alt Chars even if they are a Colonial Char.

I was amazed to see BSG BS making its way around Cylon space while a FANG BS was in game. BSG were completely unchallenged. Also FANG seem to have a BS permanently in Colonial Space waiting for the local Colonial BS to respawn. They switch to that Char kill it and switch back to another char.

So what does this mean

We have the largest Cylon Clan that will not engage 2 Colonial Clans.
We have 2 Colonial Clans that will not engage a large No of Cylons
We have the 2 largest Colonial Clans, 1 Military, 1 Rogue that have a truce.
We have 1 small rogue Clan that is attacked by just about everyone.
We have Colonial Traders that are Cylon Alts that don't get attacked by Cylons and are protected by Colonials

Like I said this is not a criticism of players but just how things are. Just because players are friends does not mean to say they do not fight in game. You can still be friends and have respect for each other, but still RP. I feel all this we do not shoot them as they are friends is in some ways killing the RP in the Server. This then ends up that any new players or non clan players are the only targets left.

So why do I not join Clans (I have been invited several times on this Server). Personally I would say they restrict you far too much. If I am in a Cylon Char, I would attack any Human player irrelevant of Clan as Cylons hate humans. Likewise if I am in a Colonial Char I would attack any Cylon Char. Pirates and Rogues would depend on the situation as they are still Humans Chars, but do fight against other humans. In a Clan you cannot do that. The freedom is gone to properly RP, how can a Cylon be friendly with 2 Human Clans when Humans and Cylons are supposed to hate each other.

I know I have mentioned Clans in this post, like I said I am not accusing any of them of cheating or doing anything wrong or breaking any rules. I just feel that friendships are killing the RP and atmosphere on this game. You can be at war in Game but still be friends and respect each other.

Sorry it turned in to a bit of a rant.

KOS clan have desided to go back to Rogues after defending the Piconia and cargo pilotes in that system, here is the Update from the KOS Daniel-Church:

Untill further notice the KOS will inforce its roleplay as Rogues, Kill On Site.
Within serverrules we revoke all neutral and war stances and change it to hostile.
The most of KOS will use the COL rep, but the CYL rep will also be used.

This is taken effect from now on, nothing personal, have fun!

lastnight there was huge -=|FANG|=- Cylon Raide on Picon system at Planet Virgon, Colonial Fighter Squadrons of [BoL] Intercepted them and attacked the Cylon base Star First, BoL did have 1 Bomber and 2 Defence Fighters at first, BoL Warriors did manage to drive that Base star out of Piconia, after that did the Cylon Fighters attack, fight was fierce but when BoL 1Lt jay join the Battle then after some time of fighting BoL manage to drive out the remaining Cylon Fighters, and so was the Cylon Raid stopped to its Tracks.
only some Colonial Fighter Pilotes where lost in the battle, we will Remember them all ways, we salute these Brave Warriors.
only 1 Picture was taken after the battle, the reporter did forget to take them when he was so Terrified about the Cylon attack so close to home system of Caprica.
